"Mr President, why are we here today?

We are here because we are committed to creating a sustainable future for the people of Tasmania.

We are here because I believe it is our responsibility to pursue projects that will bring sustainable benefits to our State.

I want a world-class Pulp Mill in Tasmania.

But not at any cost.

Only a Pulp Mill that can be assessed against our tough environmental guidelines will be built in Tasmania.
